When switching class in Kindergarten it disrupts the whole class and routine of their groups, when they get back to the classroom you really have to implement to the students it time to work and get work done before lunch. Every kindergarten class does not go to lunch at 10:30 so the time they switch has to be before lunch not right before in this class schedule. I would have recess either after lunch or at the end of the day. After lunch gives them time to wind down for the rest of the day, but then for they may be tired and falling asleep for the rest of the day. Recess at the end of the day is almost like an award for the students, after a day of working hard and learning they get to be social and play with their peers, but if they did not work as they were suppose to they do not get to go to recess and they can complete their work. I still believe each child should have time in recess so I would not take away their entire recess.
